General Safety and Health Protocols

  • Lobby is closed to viewing for parents of kids 7 and up
  • Signage is posted outside and inside to remind dancers and staff of social distancing
  • Social Distancing plan has been shared with all staff, and is posted in the gym, and on the website.
  • All people age 2 and over are required to wear masks.  Even in classes.
  • All mats and props are cleaned between classes and personal prop bags are available for purchase
  • Dancers and staff members will either wash hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer before they enter the dance room and when they exit the dance room
  • Temperature checks will be done at the entrances for all staff and dancers with a no-touch infrared thermometer.  If anyone has a temperature of over 100 they will not be permitted in the building.


Cleaning protocols

  • The studio is cleaned in its entirety daily either before or after classes.  Including disinfection of all surfaces by a professional commercial janitorial company.  
  • Bathrooms are cleaned with a disinfectant approved by the EPA to fight Covid-19 often
  • After each class, the floors are sprayed with a disinfectant approved to fight Covid-19 and mopped with a microfiber mop.  All high touch surfaces are wiped down with either an alcohol wipe or disinfectant approved by the EPA to fight Covid-19. The contact time for our disinfectant is 1 min.


Drop off and pick up procedures protocols

  • Children should wait outside for their class to start.
  • Children cannot be dropped off more than 5 min early for class or pick up more than 5 min late
  • Parents please socially distance themselves while dropping off their children
  • Before dancers enter the teacher scans the forehead of each dancer with the hands-free infrared thermometer to ensure they do not have a temperature of 100 or higher.
  • Dancers must wash their hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer before starting class.  
  • Children should use hand sanitizer when exiting the gym

      COVID-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a novel virus that has been spreading worldwide. Community-acquired cases have now been confirmed in California. We are gaining more understanding of COVID-19’s epidemiology, clinical course, immunogenicity, and other factors as time progresses, and the situation is changing daily. CDPH is in the process of monitoring COVID-19, conducting testing with local and federal partners, and providing guidance and resources to prevent, detect and respond to the occurrence of COVID-19 cases in California. At this time, community transmission of COVID-19 has occurred in California. Educational institutions should prepare for possible impacts of COVID-19 and take precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as well as other infectious diseases, including influenza and gastroenteritis.
    • The Ca SIP will not eliminate the disease it will slow the spread so medical teams can prepare and not be overwhelmed by an influx of patients.


  • Staff must wash hands or use hand sanitizer when they enter the building and in between classes
  • Staff must wash their hands or use hand sanitizer after touching their face or using the restroom.  
  • All teachers and staff must wear masks


What happens if a student who has returned back to class, a staff member, or an immediate family member of that population tests positive for Covid-19?  

We will follow reporting protocols set by the county health department and notify the studio population accordingly while maintaining HIPPA regulations.

Parent Handbook

Required Clothes and Shoes: Athletes must wear form fitting athletic attire and either sneakers or barefoot. Please bring a water bottle to class.

Tuition: First-month tuition is due at the time of registration. Tuition payments are due by the 1st of the month for the next month by Monthly Auto-Pay. Monthly Auto-Pay, means your monthly tuition payments are automatically deducted from your credit, debit card, or checking account. There is a $15.00 fee for returned auto-payments. We do not prorate or refund tuition for missed classes, vacations or studio closures. Monthly tuition payments are required to keep your account in good standing and to reserve your athlete’s spot in class. NorCal can not extend any credits or allow any account to go 30 days past due. We do accept full year payments, with a 5% discount. If you should choose to withdraw, tuition is not refunded.

Withdrawal: We require a 30 day notice with completion of our Withdrawal Form

Missed Classes: If a student misses class he/she should come to a make-up class. We do not issue refunds for missed classes. If an instructor is unable to teach and a substitute is not available you will be notified and given a date for a make-up class or a credit to your account for that class.

Parent Viewing: We welcome parents to view most recreational classes from our lobby

Pick Up And Drop Off: Please do not drop your child off more than 5 minutes early or pick up more than 5 minutes late

Showcases: We offer 2 showcases each year for our tumbling and recreational cheer classes; December and June/July. Participation is optional and there may be additional fees to participate.

Bathroom Policy: Please have your child use the restroom before class. Instructors will not be able to leave the gym floor to assist your child.

Leaving The Premise: Athletes should not leave the studio without adult supervision. If you choose to allow your child to leave the studio you are accepting all responsibility for any occurrences.

Food And Drink: All food and drinks must be kept in the lobby. Water is allowed in the dance rooms. Athletes are not allowed to chew gum in class.

Conduct: If a student or parent conducts themselves in a manner that is obscene, offensive, violent, aggressive, demeaning or disrespectful we reserve the right to refuse service.
